Submission Guidelines

We accept poetry, essays, creative non-fiction, short fiction, photography and visual art, with the only real rule being that every submission must broadly relate to ecology, botany, the environment, conservation and wilderness areas — think about rivers and bodies of water, insects, wildlife, fungi, plants, forests, mountains… we want to hear your stories.

As we are a new publication compiling our first issue, submissions are currently open and will remain open until stated otherwise, and new submissions are greatly welcomed. No entry fee. Please allow up to two weeks for a response.

Poetry — Send us up to seven poems in a PDF or DOC file.

Essays — Up to 10,000 words in a PDF or DOC file.

Creative Non-Fiction — Up to 10,000 words in a PDF or DOC file.

Short Fiction — Up to 10,000 words in a PDF or DOC file.

Photography — Up to seven images as a WeTransfer link, or through your preferred file sharing service sent via email.

Visual Art — Up to seven images as a WeTransfer link, or through your preferred file sharing service sent via email.

Reviews of books/films relevant to our themes, and pitches for articles, will also be accepted. We do not accept work that has been created by AI or created with the assistance of AI.
