A suburban tree in Melbourne, Australia

I saw this tree in a suburban park in Melbourne, Australia. The colours in the trunk had been deepened and augmented by recent rainfall. It was still quite early in the morning, and the presence of this tree struck me with a sense of soft, unspoken beauty.
