Trees in Nainital, Uttarakhand, India

While hiking up a hill, I came across a bunch of trees; tall, lush green, grand. The ones you look up to with your whole neck stretched upwards. But we often forget to look down at their bases, covered with exposed roots, tangled with each other, dried and lifeless. Once these roots were the cause of such grandeur that these trees have achieved. This made me think, how we humans too, resembles the same sight. Reaching the grandeur all due to the support of our roots.
