Bougainvillea flower in Las Terrenas

Las Terrenas, Barrio de Rubén.
I am walking through a residential neighborhood. Along both sides of the road, the small drainage channels are still holding water from the last rain. Leaves, small branches and other fragments have collected in the water. Among them, I noticed a bright bougainvillea flower, floating on the surface.
